As a graduate in recruitment you'll be learning how to be the intermediary between organisations wishing to recruit and people seeking a career move or temporary assignment. It's primarily a sales roles and offers great rewards for those that get impressive results.
This Role Includes:
Amending applicant CV's.
Obtaining references.
Researching.
Taking any incoming calls or questions.
Maintaining the company database.
Organising a Consultant's schedule.
Shadowing experienced staff will allow you to learn on the job and pick up the tricks of the trade to help you on the recruitment career path. You will go one of two paths; working within an employment agency (specialising in a particular industry) or working in-house within the HR department of a company to recruit internally.
The role is 9-5 and office based, so you'll be spending a lot of time at your desk. As a graduate you should expect a basic salary of £15,000 - 18,000 a year. Once you've stepped up to being an experienced Recruitment Consultant you will be looking at a yearly salary of £20,000 -40,000.
A good graduate recruitment trainee should:
