A leading supplier of managed services (recruitment) is looking to hire Business Development Manager to join its corporate business development team.
Working in the field, remotely and from office locations (flexibility as to which), the role is charged with developing and nurturing sales leads through the entirety of a client’s buying cycle. A long sales cycle and a complex solution, at each stage the role will regularly communicate with potential new clients, uncovering who is involved in making the decision, identifying their challenges through consultative selling techniques and clearly articulating to them our bespoke solutions, value propositions, benefits and approach.

To apply to the role, you should have an impressive track record of delivering similar solutions which have involved long sales cycles. You should have a consultative approach and be skilled through all stages of the process. Likely to be educated to degree level, it is expected that you will have experience of recruitment managed services or RPO. This may be sales experience that you have developed through roles in large recruiters, developing from recruitment consultancy backgrounds. Other outsourcing solution backgrounds will be considered but in this case you must demonstrate a strong understanding of the sector and bring experience of working with large businesses and organisations that may use managed services. Flexible and proactive, you should be a self-starter who enjoys winning contracts and developing new business. The role can be based from a selection of offices or in the field.
