MANCHESTER – Business Development Manager – Construction Recruitment – basic to £40k + package. My client has a successful London branch supplying to the Construction / Built Environment. As their clients are located nationally they are now looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to feed into existing SLA’s and build relationships.  They supply White and Blue Collar staff, mainly Contract-focused and are maintaining good margins on contract / temp business.  

We can only consider applicants who have previous recruitment agency experience.  Ideally you will have specific sector experience within the Construction, Mechanical and Engineering, Civils, Technical sectors.

JOB SUMMARY – Business Development Manager – Construction Recruitment

Working closely with the London team you will be developing relationships with existing PSL clients plus generating new business opportunities across the North Midlands region. The company works mainly in Highways & Infrastructure supplying Contract and Permanent candidates at Blue and White Collar level. As part of a larger group you will have access to a robust infrastructure and on-going training and development.

CANDIDATE – Business Development Manager – Construction Recruitment

  • Ideally you will have experience in the Construction and/or Engineering sector – Facilities Management, Property, Civils etc
  • You must be a self-starter with strong commercial acumen capable of creating your own success and maximising opportunities
  • A professional approach and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must
  • A true team player who is capable of directing their own activity and working in a grown-up culture that offers autonomy and accountability in equal measure
