My client is a dynamic and exciting Digital Recruitment company. They have a team of 40 and have been established for a while. They work across the Digital space from Marketing to Sales and IT related roles. However they are a pure Digital expert. As a result of increasing business activity they are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager, whose role will be to develop business within exiting accounts. They have many clients where they are filling only a small proportion of the roles available, and the remit here will be to network around the existing client base and get these roles on.
This is not a delivery role, and your time will be 100% client facing, with elements of New Business Development and Account Management. You will of course oversee client feedback to enable growth of accounts, however you will not be filling roles.
This role will suit an individual with excellent business development skills who enjoys being client facing. The clients are warm, so this is not a pure new business focus, however you will also need to be happy speaking to and developing new contacts. By definition you will spend a fair amount of time out of the office at clients premises.
This is a senior role and the earning potential is significant at six figures, you would receive a % commission for every role that you bring in and is subsequently filled. This role might suit a senior consultant looking to make the move into pure Business Development or someone who is currently in a similar role. However you will need to be prepare to cover lots of ground rather than just account managing a few large clients. Experience in Recruitment is essential.
