My client is an established and highly regarded Tier 1 search firm with a prestigious client base in the VC/PE and Tech space, including several household brand FTSE corporates. They typically focus on roles above £150k base salary and hence operate on the true c suite end of the market.
As part of a planned expansion they are establishing a new area of the business to focus on the £75-150k end of the market, for which they receive a considerable number of requests to work from their established relationships. This is a unique opportunity to join the new business at an early stage and enjoy the full support of a significant job flow coming from the search business. They are looking for individuals who have a background in either top end contingent work or hybrid search, who know how both the retained and contingent models work. Experience in Sales, Marketing, Digital or the Tech space will be relevant to the mandates you will work on.
Salary will depend on experience but it is envisaged that a base of between £70-85k will be on offer with a bonus and equity participation. Opportunities of this kind are exceptionally rare to join Tier 1 search firms, and this is a great stepping stone to develop your career in this environment. You will need lots of energy and drive, and be excited by the prospect of building something from its early stages, albeit with the backing and support of the established search business. Ultimately business development will form part of the role later down the line, but initially it is envisaged that the search firm will provide substantial amounts of work to get the business going.
