The role:

Excellent opportunity for a researcher to join a specialist boutique search firm, offering a very flexible working structure. The ideal candidate will be interested in working for a young company and be drawn to a dynamic environment.

The research position will involve working directly with the owners of the business, supporting them by taking responsibility for the research on retained searches. There will also be opportunities to have in-depth client interaction as you will become an intrinsic part of this small team. The size of the business ensures that there is strong potential for growth and tailored development in a highly competitive industry.

Key responsibilities:

Building and maintenance of the company's database
Management of market maps, longlists and shortlists for each individual search
Working with managing partners on pitches for new clients
Day to day support for managing partners, including diary management
Building relationships with candidates and, in due course, clients
Networking with industry sources
Writing reports on industry trends to provide insight for clients

The candidate:

Degree from a leading university
Strong organisational skills
Good communication
Desire and interest in working in financial services, including a base level understanding of key the Wealth and Asset Management sectors
Flexibility to work in a start-up environment
Desire to build a long-term career in Executive Search

The company:

A well-regarded executive search firm, specialising in the Wealth and Asset Management industry, filling senior roles, all on a retained basis. The business works internationally in London, Zurich, Frankfurt and other key European financial hubs.

The company is small and extremely mobile so does not use a fixed office base - this means that flexibility is key, you may be working from home one day, a leading London club the next and be with a client the following day.
