JOB TITLE: Field Sales Executive / Client Engagement Manager

LOCATION: Home based, covering the South of England

SALARY & BENEFITS: £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience – uncapped commission + company car and a wide range of benefits

WORKING HOURS: Monday – Friday full time, permanent

THE COMPANY: The SmartList is part of Johnston Press, one of the UK’s largest media publishers with over 200 newspapers reaching 1 in 3 UK adults and 24m users per month across mobile, desktop and tablet.

The SmartList offers online recruitment solutions to businesses of all sizes across the UK. We work with companies across all business sectors from SME, charities to large corporate clients.

THE ROLE: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Field Sales Executive to promote The SmartList to our customers across the South of England. You will spend a couple of days per week arranging appointments with clients and the rest of the week visiting and presenting our products to close the sale.

This is an exciting position for a strong and tenacious sales person with the enthusiasm to drive sales and revenue. Ideally you will have a recruitment background, however this is not essential.

Key Responsibilities of the Field Sales Executive to include:-

• Proactively develop new business opportunities, through effective lead management and conversion
• Sell online recruitment advertising solutions through clear and effective territory ownership and management
• Meet and exceed revenue and sales targets and KPI performance areas
• Effective geographic territory and call planning to optimise contact and performance.
• Drive the entire sales process, from territory planning, appointing, 2 stage call recording, closing and campaign fulfilment
• Work closely with the Recruitment Resourcing team who will manage the vacancy from point of sale

Experience required for the role of the Field Sales Executive covering the South of England

• Previous field based sales experience
• Previous business to business experience
• Experience in recruitment or advertising sales would be an advantage
• Full driving licence you can use in the UK
• Ability to exceed targets and KPIs
