My client is a long time established independent recruitment business with offices across the country. They predominately focus on the Finance and Procurement markets, with Finance being the main discipline. They work with qualified candidates typically with salaries between £50-£150k . The business is mature and has a respected brand in both the Corporate listed and SME space. Culturally it is a grown up, non kpi driven environment where people have the autonomy to perform well above typical averages.
My client is looking to appoint a Head of Interim in their city based London office who will have the remit to build an interim business on the back of the established perm business. Investment exists to build a team, and ultimately once the London team is established you will be promoted to a Director level role and assume national responsibility for developing the Interim market.
Opportunities of this kind are rare in such an established brand to build an interim practice, but my client has been heavily perm orientated, and the size of the opportunity is huge. It will be easy to quickly leverage the existing business to build an Interim team. It is envisaged that the Interim team will focus on roles above the £400pd mark up to £1000pd.
You will need an established track record as an Interim/Contract recruiter ideally in a finance marketplace. Salary on offer will be around £65-75k plus a generous commission and profit share scheme. First year guarantees and incentives will also be considered for the right candidates.
