The Opportunity – HR Advisor
This is a front-line HR Advisor role. You will be managed and supported by the Assistant Director of HR and join an established team consisting of the HR & Payroll Officer and Team Administrator. Your role will be pivotal; ensuring the sites HR policies and legislation is consistent and managed appropriately.
As the HR Advisor you will fully support the 25+ line managers across the following HR functions:
·Responsible for collating and monitoring attendance, absence, annual leave and training records. All in-line with the organisations policy and procedures.
·Project manage the recruitment and selection process; conducting job analysis, profiling job descriptions and creating attractive job advertisements.
·Facilitate and coordinate referrals into the Occupational Health Team.
·Maintain confidentiality of data, documents and files.
·Full involvement with formal staff meetings such as disciplinary meetings, capability meetings, objective setting and supporting line managers to conduct performance reviews. You will ensure managers are supported with difficult situations when they arise.
·Become a key role model for this unique setting that sits in the public sector and fully complies with safeguarding of young students.
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Daventry, Rugby, Silverstone, Milton Keynes, Lutterworth, Market Harborough, Kettering and Corby.
Experience and Qualifications Required – HR Advisor
It is essential for the HR Advisor to have the following skills and previous front-line HR experience:
·An active CPD record and plan with detailed current achievements relevant to HR best practice.
·CIPD level 3 qualification and ideally working towards or gained the level 5.
·Holds a UK driver’s license to attend other sites across Northamptonshire, if required.
·Confidence to challenge and capable to ensure a robust HR service delivery.
·Demonstrates the capability and courage to challenge on situations that could affect the organisation.
·IT literate and has excellent presentation skills.
·Keen to fully embed into the organisations culture and operating model, bringing improvements to the HR service and supporting the Assistant Director of HR with change management and future business strategies.
