HR Advisor / Learning & Development Coordinator 

Our client; a charitable group of companies that supports people with a learning disability. Their unique leadership and structure includes people with a learning disability. Through this they can demonstrate that people with a learning disability can be leaders in society - but they can’t do this without you! They are now looking to expand their HR team in Scotland and are looking to recruit a Learning and Development & HR Advisor. 

Position: HR Advisor / Learning & Development Coordinator 
Location: Homebased – covering Scotland. 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 39 hours per week 
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum 

About the role: 

This role is an exciting combination of two roles within their HR function, as they are recruiting for a Learning and Development trainer with HR advisory responsibilities. 

You will be responsible for delivering high quality vocational training to all Staff in an exciting and impactful way. You will coordinate and deliver induction training as well as specialist courses such as Autism Awareness, as well as maintaining and completing training records. Alongside of this you will need to be able to deliver an effective and responsive service to managers by coaching them on their HR policies. You’ll be the prime operational link between the business in Scotland and the central HR function. You’ll need to be confident delivering advice on; disciplinaries, absence management, TUPE and more. 

In order to be successful you will need to be an exceptionally strong communicator. You must be motivated, flexible and organised, with the ability to work on your own initiative to meet tight deadlines. This role will involve some travel across Scotland and some overnight stays when required. 

About you: 

- CIPD Level 5. 
- Experience of delivering learning opportunities. 
- Good knowledge of legislation relating to social care. 
- Full driving license and access to a vehicle. 
- Good communication skills. 
- Strong IT skills. 
- Able to work to tight deadlines. 
- Organised with a high attention to detail.
