Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Location: Northampton, with occasional travel to other sites

Salary: £29,431 -£33,450 per annum (dependant on skills & experience)

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

Our Client:

The Company has been supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities and mental health problems with cutting-edge services for over 25 years. They are now looking to recruit an experienced HR generalist to support the Corporate Team and their managers in driving their business forward.

The role will involve providing strategic and operational support to the Corporate Team and Care Home Managers on HR related matters to ensure the needs of their business are met. The post holder will also provide guidance and support to their Care Home Managers on HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with current employment legislation and the standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

You will be fully competent in dealing with employee relations matters including, disciplinary and grievance, absence and performance management. Managing recruitment campaigns will also form part of the role to ensure their services are delivered to the highest of standards.

Taking the lead within the HR team to review and monitor existing HR policies and procedures will form part of the role as well as being responsible for the effective delivery of HR projects, with an aim to improve the overall HR function and the services it delivers. You also have the responsibility for the management and development of the HR Advisor.

In order to be considered for the role you will need to be a highly motivated HR professional looking for a new challenge and keen to bring new ideas to the table. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships with their employees and external partners. Effective time management skills and the ability to organise the workflow through the department will be crucial in order to be successful within the role. You will work well under pressure and be able to use your initiative to meet the needs of the business.

The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified, hold an equivalent qualification or be able to demonstrate relevant experience at a senior HR level. You will be proficient in MS Office packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint and have experience using HR systems. Experience using Kronos time management software is desirable but not essential.
