A new and exciting opportunity for a part time in-house recruiter for a SME Construction and Maintenance Company, based in Watford, Hertfordshire has arisen. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruitment in the administration and construction industry.

We are looking for a self-starter used to working in a small team, but can demonstrate a proven ability to leverage a wide variety of routes to market to attract high calibre applicants in order to add value to the Company.

Main purpose of job role:

The main purpose of this newly created role is to provide a consistently high-quality resourcing service in line with business objectives at all times, with a key focus on recruitment and retention.

 Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide a high-quality end to end resourcing support, tailored to the various business/regional requirements.

  • Source, recruit and retain the best talent in the market

  • Recruit across the organisation from Handyman to senior positions.

  • Provide advice and guidance to the hiring managers.

  • Maintain a wide network of external contacts in the Construction market.

 The successful candidate:

  • Experienced recruiter (from either an agency or in-house environment)

  • Ability to work under your own initiative and have a flexible approach.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement is a necessity for this opportunity.

  • An excellent communicator with the ability to work accurately and concisely.

  • You will have strong IT skills, particularly MS Word and Excel.

  • working knowledge of recruitment systems
