We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, hardworking, and commercial-thinking Consultant to join our expanding team based out of Rotherham.

Working within one of the largest Accountancy & Finance recruitment teams in the region, you will be provided with the necessary tools, training, and support in order to become a true expert in your field. Recruitment is a fast-paced industry focusing on bringing suitable clients and candidates together and your role will be to facilitate this through a variety of daily responsibilities from business development and maintaining long-term relationships, to attracting candidates and placing job seekers into ideal positions.

What to expect as a Consultant at Elevation:

* Bespoke training sessions covering the recruitment lifecycle, candidate management, negotiation, sales training and more
* Sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates using market-leading candidate attraction tools including job boards, LinkedIn and social media, the internal database, and our extensive network
* Account management and continued development of our existing client base
* Identifying new business opportunities through strategic business development
* Conducting sales and service meetings with clients across the region to build positive relationships and to gain a good understanding of their company, industry, culture and team
* Working closely with our specialist in-house marketing team to design and write bespoke advertisements for a range of platforms including job boards and social media
* Reviewing applications and creating an accurate shortlist of candidates to live vacancies
* Requesting references and checking suitability of applicants prior to submission
* Preparing high-quality CV's and correspondence to clients and arranging external interviews for your client
* Providing detailed, honest and constructive feedback to candidates following their interviews
* Offering professional advice to candidates and clients regarding your market, salaries, pay rates, training and career progression
* Arranging and attending key industry events and networking opportunities

The successful person will possess the following:

* Strong work ethic with a goal-orientated approach to work / target driven
* First-class communication and interpersonal skills - both verbal and written
* Excellent relationship building skills
* Ambitious and driven in nature
* Confidence and a self-motivation
* Ability to handle multiple priorities and work as part of a fast-paced, changing environment
* Previous sales experience would be advantageous but is not essential
