Role: Recruitment Consultant - Legal
Location: Tunbridge Wells
Salary: Up to £28,000 basic (dependant on experience)
Uncapped commission with no desk fee. Commission structure tiered up to 20% of invoicing

We are recruiting for a Legal Recruitment Consultant to join our specialist Legal team. This team has been established for over 10 years at Blue Pelican and specialises in placing Legal Fee Earners and Legal Support staff.
This vacancy is to specialise in placing Legal Fee Earners (Solicitors and Legal Executives) into the London and Midlands market (private practice and in-house). You will be tasked with operating in a 360 capacity and will ensure that everyone receives the highest possible level of customer service as a priority. You will have full autonomy over your own clients and candidates in this specific region and will seek to develop new business opportunities as much as understanding clients' needs and objectives to deliver recruitment solutions. This is a very warm desk with many established relationships with clients and candidates, but there is also great opportunity to develop this desk further too.
We currently work with Top 100 law firms, major regional law firms, smaller high street practices and also a number of insurance, telecoms, pharmaceutical and property firms who require in-house lawyers.
Ideally you will have previous experience recruiting within the Legal sector however, we would be happy to consider candidates who may have experience within other professional services. What is important to us is that you have a proven track record of achieving targets and a passion for recruitment. You will be a confident negotiator who can remain calm under pressure, and you will be motivated to succeed in your work, demonstrating a strong work ethic. All this with a friendly and approachable personality!
