Excellent basic salary 25 – 35k + bonus

Candidate delivery role

Actuarial sector

Drum Recruitment are looking for a Senior Researcher /Delivery specialist to join an award-winning financial recruitment business with over 20 years’ experience. You will be working in the Actuarial team, focusing on the life assurance sector.

Our client is looking for a bright, credible individual with strong interpersonal skills. You will either have some recruitment experience or a recent graduate with some sales experience.   Alternatively you may be working in the FS sector and are looking to move into the recruitment field.

You will predominately be responsible for candidate attraction. This will be a great way to become a specialist recruiter in a niche market on a very well established and already successful desk. You will headhunt and meet candidates, ultimately developing your overall knowledge of the actuarial sector – although without the pressures placed upon 360 degree recruiters to generate new business and job flow yourself. If you have the longer term ambition to become a Consultant, then that career path would develop from this, although similarly if you wanted to remain in a candidate delivery role then that career path can also be accommodated. You will use a combination of headhunting, database searches, LinkedIn, advertising, writing e-shots, networking and attracting referrals to generate candidates.

You will undertake some work relating to building intelligence of the market through mapping out organisational structures and through passing on useful information gathered (ie job leads). Our client has an extensive database containing at least 90% of all UK actuaries.

There will be an ongoing opportunity to generate further financial rewards on top of your basic salary by working on our existing vacancies (on a flat fee per placement basis). You will also receive support, feedback and training to help you to develop. You will be joining and extremely supportive, experienced, and stable insurance actuarial team.  The culture is friendly, fun and collaborative.  The career development and rewards are exciting:

  • Salary range from 25k to 35k depending on level and experience.
  • Bonus
  • Extensive training, coaching and development to ensure continued success.
  • Excellent benefits package.
  • Regular Incentives, prizes and trips.
  • A strong and stable company culture.

The person:

  • Bright graduate with either recruitment / sales experience or FS background.
  • Strong communication style.
  • Enthusiasm and interest to learn about the actuarial life assurance market.
  • Proactive and engaging.
  • Ability to develop and maintain business relationships.
  • Innovative and dynamic.
  • Organised
  • Proactive, organised and professional.
