My client is a division of a highly respected Executive Search firm focussing on the PE/VC marketplace. Their client base is typically technology driven businesses that are in start up or early development stages, fast moving and dynamic.
Typically roles handled are between salaries of £80-£150k on usually a retained search basis, with more senior remits handled elsewhere in the parent search firm. This is an amazing opportunity to come on board into this developing team as a researcher working in this exciting space.
Your role will be to map the markets, source candidates, research via linked in, and develop short-lists to support the consultants/partners in delivering assignments. You would be supported by the Head of Research.
My client is looking for someone with the gravitas and intellect to cover the senior end of the market, and a really strong team based work ethic. A year or so's experience in Internal talent acquisition,candidate resourcing, contingent recruitment or research in a search firm would all be suitable backgrounds, as indeed would a support role in a search firm, for individuals looking to make the transition into the search world.
A background in Technology or some exposure to PE/VC firms and/or marketing and sales based sectors would be useful be not essential.
Opportunities for progression are really good as this is an entry level role, and scope to progress into a more senior research role exists, as would longer term is desired into a more client facing role, although this is not a pre requisite.
