My client is an established Interim Management and Advisory consultancy operating in the Public Sector in Central Birmingham. They focus on change and transformation and deal with senior executives operating in this space on an interim basis. Typically candidates are on £600pd and upwards to £1500pd. Due to continued growth they are looking to hire 2 resourcers who will act as Candidate Consultants. The role will be to maintain the virtual bench of consultants, make sure that associates are kept in regular contact and we are utilising the market information to best use. You will need excellent communication skills, tenacity, energy and a professional approach as there will be a lot of candidate communication, and you will also be the first port of call to provide candidates for open roles.
This is an excellent training ground to progress into a full consultant's role if this is your desired career path, but plenty of scope also exists to continue in Resourcing. A background in recruitment, sales, HR or the public sector or similar field will be advantageous, as indeed would experience in either an Executive Search or similar environment. However more important is mindset, ability and attitude the rest can be learnt and supported with thorough training. The role may suit a graduate looking for a second career move, or indeed someone further into their career looking for a change of direction. Likewise someone working in contingent recruitment looking to move up the value chain may well be suited.
A salary of between £25-35k is envisage depending on background and there will be a commission structure on top.
