18 -21k Basic (depending on experience)

OTE 30 – 35k

Drum Recruitment are looking for a Trainee Recruitment consultant to join a leading, privately owned, eCommerce Recruitment Agency based in St Albans, Hertfordshire. You will specialise in helping online organisations hire and retain Marketing and eCommerce professionals.

You will be a Graduate with at least 6 months + B2B sales experience.  You will be working with A-list digital and marketing clients, across a range of industries;  Media, Tech start-up’s , Financial Services, FMCG, Social gaming to name a few.  Developing your career in a fast-paced yet friendly environment, our client offers a great work life balance and generous basic salary and commission.

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant you will responsible for growing and maintaining your client base, understanding your client’s recruitment needs and matching candidates to suitable vacancies.  Recruitment is an industry where hard work, hunger for success and the intelligence to spot opportunities and follow up on them is critical. Those that succeed are consultative driven sales professionals who can engage with people and get results.

  • Graduated from University with a 2:2 or better with around 6 months + proven B2B sales experience (i.e. B2B Telesales, Sales negotiators, customer service or people with direct sales experience).
  • Excellent communications skills – natural conversationalist, engaging, with the ability to form strong relationships.
  • Wants to work in a target driven sales environment.
  • Innovative and dynamic.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, self-starter.
  • Able to show sporting or academic achievements.
  • Driven to succeed, with a high level of ambition/competitive edge.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Resilience – ability to handle pressure.
