Drum Recruitment are looking for a trainee consultant to join a specialist education recruitment agency based in central London.  Our client is a leading supplier of special education needs and disabilities (SEND) staff across the UK. They recruit both into mainstream schools and alternative provisions with a broad range of positions. They are a small,niche agency that are passionate about providing a great service to the schools and candidates they work with.  They are a professional, ethical and well respected within their field. 

Due to expansion they are recruiting for a number of positions. Working with an experienced team, this is a full 360 consulting role, which will provide you with extensive training and support, and all the tools that you need for a successful career in recruitment.  Responsibilities include generating new business, attending client meetings, screening / interviewing candidates, and matching the right candidate to the right opportunity. Essential to your success is an ability to build and develop meaningful client relationships.

About you

  • A graduate (ideally 2:1 or above) looking for a first move into the recruitment
  • A real interest and passion in the Education and Special needs sector
  • Some proven B2B sales experience (i.e. B2B Telesales, Sales negotiators, customer service or people with direct sales experience)
  • Some previous experience of working in the Education would be a distinct advantage.
  • You will be motivated, proactive, organised, hardworking and highly motivated
  • Wants to work in a target driven sales environment
  • Resilience – ability to handle pressure
