THE JOB
You will be managing a team of eight direct reports, all at senior management level across Asia Pacific to include ANZ, Singapore, KL, Hong Kong and Japan. The role requires a sharp business minded director able to influence and strategically guide the business unit. This is likely to include major account strategy, identifying trends in the market, ensuring effective delivery capability, providing management support, training and mentoring to senior and middle management, internal recruitment, overseeing all operational matters especially induction and training, overseeing the p and l and ultimately ensuring profitability across all revenue streams and regions.
The role will report into a very dynamic and sharp board with complete ownership of budgets. You will be dealing with a very diverse array of cultural nuances along with a vast geographical patch'.
THE COMPANY
You will be working with a large corporate staffing firm with multiple brands, global spread and good critical mass. The firm has excellent roots in the market with a stable, talented senior management team all with good tenure. The business is well positioned for growth and is particularly keen to drive their mid tier, professional recruitment brands.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
You will have come from the recruitment ranks with an understanding of the billing world.
You will have a demonstrable track record of building and managing multi location teams.
A multicultural background is advantageous, as a minimum you will need to demonstrate the ability to react to cultural nuances.
You will have the ability to inspire and direct senior management by offering them operational and budgetary support, advising and implementing team structures, providing medium and long term vision as well as driving revenue by major account strategies.
You will have a passion for business and a sharp eye for $ and the bottom line. In sync with this will be a proven track record in handling significant budgets.
