Like the UK, Australia has LOTS of IT recruitment firms...Speaking frankly, probably only 10% of them do the job to a very high standard (which again, is very similar to the UK)!As you would imagine, the best (and I mean
the best) Australian IT recruitment firms are in such a strong position right now, that it is ridiculous!
Imagine: The economy has bounced back (post GFC) and everybody is screaming out for IT resource. There are less IT Recruiters servicing this need (as so many of them left the industry during the GFC), and the ones that are still around are making hay. LOTS of hay!
The Australian IT recruitment marketplace is in a far stronger position than the UK marketplace, and if coming to Australia has ever been on your agenda, NOW is the time to make that move?
