THE JOB
You will inherit an existing, highly successful desk which dovetails with the firms core market. The business is looking for a dynamic managing consultant to build a regional Asia desk ( based from HK ) but covering Singapore, India, Japan as well as the less recruitment centric Asia regions.
THE COMPANY
The firm has excellent roots in the Asia and particularly Hong Kong market with a number of high achieving consultants within the team. Their style is consultative and polished and culture fit is a major consideration during the hiring process. As a truly international business they are genuinely amenable to importing overseas talent, this is not hot air as it is in most staffing firms. You will be flown to interview, helped with relocation, your visa will be sponsored and most importantly you will be ingratiated into Asian culture by people entrenched in the market.
REQUIREMENTS
You will have an excellent billing track record and will be a polished, professional recruiter able to inspire confidence and trust with clients and candidates.
You will have a good understanding of the banking industry, ideally this will extend to risk and compliance, second best is a good grasp of back office operations. You will be a candidate driven recruiter able to map, track and close talent. Above all you will have a genuine reason to move to Asia with an awareness of the cultural nuances you will encounter.
