Account Manager - Surrey
Package to £30k ote £70k

The IT division of our client is one of the most successful business units within the parent company. Having gone through a number of major changes in the last two years the company is well poised for growth with a clearly defined ambitious business plan and the tools available to meet its demanding forecasts. The business has won supplier ship agreements with a number of blue chips and as a result an excellent account developer is sought to realise their potential.

You will be responsible for three accounts in the software and professional services
( outsourcing ) sector. Whilst you will oversee the shortlist, delivery process you will not be actively sourcing candidates yourself. Instead you will be expected to sit in the front line, liaising with line managers and building on relationships inside the accounts. The accounts already yield large volumes of business however they are far from reaching their potential and backed up by a resource team of three the sky is the limit in terms of billing and commission.

You will need to have a minimum of two years recruitment experience within IT. Knowledge of these particular sectors would be an advantage. The role would suit someone with the ability to strategically develop accounts. On this basis you will be a natural people's person, polished and credible. The role is definitely not for someone who is an engine room account manager, you will need to be able to demonstrate account growth within your career to date. Whilst not essential some experience of permanent recruitment would be advantageous.
