Managing Director

Singapore CBD

Package to $320,000 SGD

THE COMPANY AND THE JOB

You will inherit responsibility for a large successful agency CBD based with a regional remit. The role reports to the global board, a dynamic, entrepreneurial group of strong, industry veterans that lead from the front. You will lead a team of business managers all operating within tight vertical markets and with decent headcount underneath them.

The role will see you shape the team in a visionary fashion whilst maintaining a firm grip on day to day staff management namely : appraisals, one to ones, training, internal recruitment. You will be strategically involved in all operational elements of the business from cash flows, reporting, IT, systems and processes. The company is a well oiled "machine" from a business perspective, so your input and management of this is essential. The company operates a very hands on philosophy, client facing time is a fundamental part of the role, from a rainmaking and major accounts perspective.

 

ABOUT YOU

You will be a natural leader, able to influence and strategically guide individuals both senior and junior. You will have the ability to implement strategic direction from a top down angle.  There be very compelling evidence of these attributes in your career to date. Ideally you'll be a senior manager running multiple teams with full P&L responsibility, as a minimum you will be running a decent sized profitable team today with some ownership of your own budget.

You will be able to demonstrate a hands on approach throughout your career to date with the ability to think grass roots up from a sales perspective as well as helicopter view from a strategy perspective.
