My client is looking for a Branch Manager to join their Construction division in Manchester. The Company
My client has been established since 1988 and has regional offices throughout the UK. Their Sheffield office is looking for motivated individuals to join their new Industrial division. As a company they specialising in the Industrial, Construction and Commercial.
The Role
· To maximise recruitment, sales, staff, branch and service efficiency of the Manchester branch.
· Business development and Staff Training/Development.
· Report to the Area Manager on activity, performance, results and variances monthly.
· To be actively involved in the generation of sales for the company and to foster an environment of enthusiasm for business development.
· Coach consultants in attending client visits/meetings as appropriate.
· To be accountable for achieving plan and budget for the branch, recommending strategies and actions to meet business needs.
· To organise the management of the branch cost effectively whilst ensuring optimum delegation and productivity.
The Person
· You will need a solid recruitment background with a proven track record at senior or management level.
· Proven man management strengths in recruitment, preferably in the Construction Trades and Labour or a similar market.
· Aware of the local market and is able to pin point areas of profitability and improvement.
· It is therefore key that this individual has a mentoring management style and is fully prepared to be a hand's on Manager who leads by example.
