Job Description

My client is a leading recruiter in the North East region. Managing a team of four consultants: -

  • Experience of people management desirable
  • Good demonstrated level of education
  • Must have Dom Care experience and NVQ4

Job Purpose:

  • Manager responsible for the branch's larger, more complex accounts in the local market.
  • People Manager responsible for leading the branch team in an inspirational manner and steering the consultants in their sales activities to generate results.
  • People Manager responsible for ensuring that there is alignment with the company systems/processes used within the branch.
  • To drive the gross profit within the branch to achieve sustainable growth ensuring delivery of the Road Map/financial targets

Key Performance Indicators (KPI'S) - Financials

These will be set by the Operations Manager in accordance with the development of the area, the strategic goals of the company and the current Bonus scheme but could include, for example: GP Targets, Contribution, GP/FTE, Staff Turnover

Main Responsibilities and Tasks:

    People Management

  • Coaching and developing consultants/account specialists to develop their potential as a way of working, to support individuals and drive performance and behaviour (including during Induction, monthly bilas, mid-year reviews, end of year appraisals, salary review)
  • Using the competency framework and KPI's to aid and drive performance and retention.
  • Ensuring all people management processes are carried out in line with company policy.
  • Creating a feel of belonging to and pride in the company amongst the consultants, motivating individuals to work as a team and to be inspired
  • Proactively managing employee turnover
  • Ensuring all business and local information is cascaded in a timely way to drive employee engagement and understanding of their value and role.
  • Identifying talent and creating opportunities for development; using tools from the resourcing process and individual development plans to drive these opportunities and performance.
  • Managing performance and behaviour by positively using performance management and attendance processes to motivate and challenge consultants to achieve excellence in execution.
  • Demonstrating inspirational Leadership and leading by example. 

Sales

  • Develop the local market of the branch, defining the local market approach
  • Responsible for large accounts - building long term relationships with key clients, prospects and major decision makers
  • Organization of team sales initiatives to stimulate the sales
  • Proactively participating and coordinating all commercial activities
  • Preparing and presenting regular business proposals
  • Define and execute sales strategy for the team

Operations

  • Monitoring and evaluating the results of the consultants and the team and making them in line with the individual KPI's and objectives
  • Responsible for the implementation and execution of the Concept.
  • Ensuring the efficient execution of all core processes within the branch in line with company policy and in compliance with latest legislation.
