THE COMPANY AND THE JOB
You will be the SE Asia Director for a well regarded international brand targeting the semi retained semi contingent professional markets in IT & Telco across Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Australia. The organisation has a seasoned and well respected leadership team all with good tenure in the firm, operating as a cohesive and powerful group. Working alongside the current MD you will assume increasing responsibility over the course of the year rather than being parachuted in on day one. The MD has a medium term plan to exit the SE Asia business leaving his successor firmly entrenched in the business.
You will be responsible for internal recruitment, induction and training; you will mentor and lead a middle management team covering three core verticals. From sales perspective you will be a credible ambassador of the brand, there will be significant top down selling and introductions to organisations through a decent network of clients. Operationally you will be sharp and shrewd with a keen eye on the bottom line and the ability to turn a profit In a SME environment.
The organisation is a highly entrepreneurial group with a young talented Chairman, they are well positioned for an exit and are looking for dynamic leaders to take the company to the next level in their growth, in reward for this their is significant cash on offer along with group equity.
ABOUT YOU
You will have good tenure in the recruitment industry and a demonstrable track record of solid billings, ideally within IT, Telco markets. You will be a natural leader and will either be a middle manager looking for the next step or a P and L owner looking for a sideways move into a more dynamic professional and sharp organisation. You will have humility as a core strength with the desire to learn and you will have some experience of managing diverse cultural groups.
