Hays City was set-up a year ago and was formed to act as a "One Hays" solution with the ability to supply cross-branded recruitment solutions to all financial services companies, including Investment Banks, Investment Managers and Hedge Funds in Central London.
 
We are now looking to hire a consultant / senior consultant to join the Investment Banking Operations team, focusing on permanent recruitment with the aim of growing the desk. The successful consultant will be responsible for managing and developing a mix of retained and new business across the Banking Operations sector.
 
Responsibilities to include:
- Effectively manage relationships with existing tier one Investment Banks
- Establish / develop relationships to increase fees with new / low volume clients
- Attend client visits
- Generate quality candidates relevant to the Banking sector
- Assess candidate suitability for jobs
- Effectively market candidates to clients
- Ability to work in a target driven environment
- Work closely with colleagues in Investment Management and Custody  
You will move onto a warm desk and take on at least one established top tier and a number of smaller/lower volume clients when you start. It will then be up to you to develop you desk by developing new business within the sector. There will be additional support provided by a candidate resourcer.
 
This is a challenging role that combines both account management and business development functions, however it does offer a unique opportunity to a play a part in the growth of the desk.
 
You will have gained excellent business development, client engagement and job matching skills to date. You will be rewarded exceptionally well for strong performance.
