In order to be successful in this role, Key Responsibilities are outlined below:
Clients
- To make regular contact with existing and prospective clients in a professional and effective manner
- To build relationships and ultimately maximise revenue opportunities through a professional and innovative approach to account management.
- Develop and implement sales strategies on a regular basis to ensure current and potential business is maximised. This includes prospecting for new clients, responding to tenders and ultimately selling to clients a bespoke range of recruiting strategies.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, market leadership and operational excellence through both proactive and reactive activities to achieve and ultimately exceed revenue targets.
- Identify new markets and sales opportunities, and to act on these accordingly.
- Generate new business through cold calling potential customers and build relationships with prospect and existing clients.
- Visit new clients and to convert these clients to regular users of Berkeley Scott for your division and other areas of the business if applicable. A relationship builder, who sets benchmarks, achieves targets and aims to break records in any environment.
- Ensure that clients are aware of and agree to Terms and Conditions of Business and rates prior to commencing on an assignment, negotiating fees where necessary in line with company policy.
- Develop and manage close, long-standing and productive relationships with all decision-makers within the existing client database to maximise opportunities.
- To obtain a full job brief from clients, clearly outlining actions and timescales required, and ensuring these timescales are met on every occasion.
- Ensure that the shortlist presented is of the highest calibre possible.
- To fully prepare the client for candidate interviews in a professional and honest manner.
- To debrief and trial close' the client in line with company policy.
- Display a passion to build up the client base and generate successful relationships, both with existing and new clients.
- The willingness to work hard in a team environment and be committed and confident within a fast paced environment at all times.
- To spend time in the businesses of key accounts as discussed with Manager.
- To knowledgeably introduce other areas of the Berkeley Scott Group to clients, where appropriate and to follow through with an effective introduction to colleagues.
- To create a positive impact of both the Berkeley Scott Group and self in every conversation or client meeting.
Candidates
- To have regular contact active applicants regarding potential opportunities, ensuring you effectively manage the database and that you are aware of sales opportunities.
- To screen, interview and reference all Candidates in line with the company standard.
- To select suitable vacancies are present to Candidates, briefing then accordingly.
- To maintain regular contact with Candidates either face to face or by telephone: giving feedback and dealing with their queries in a timely and professional manner.
- To implement innovative candidate attraction ideas in order to increase the database.
- To prepare candidates for client interviews, in an honest and informed fashion.
- To encourage candidates to represent the company in such a way as to ensure the highest possible credit to the company.
- To debrief and trial close' the candidate after every interview.
- To promote the temporary division to ensure the candidate remains within the Berkeley Scott Group whilst seeking permanent employment.
- To work with teams in other offices to ensure Berkeley Scott maximise revenue and profitability.
General
- To develop an effective business development strategy for all relevant sectors for discussion in the monthly business development meetings.
- To develop relationships with peer groups and team to promote positive interaction.
- To manage and control the recruitment process to a satisfactory conclusion every time, exceeding client expectations.
- To plan your day effectively, optimising peak call times.
- To ensure that relevant documentation is fully maintained in line with company policy.
- To maintain 100% accuracy at all times when completing key information as required by Line Manager.
- To follow up on all leads from clients, candidates, temporary workers and colleagues in order to maximise revenue potential.
- To obtain feedback from candidates and clients, communicating to relevant parties and taking required action in a timely manner.
- To be aware of key competitors within the market place, referring any employee names to the HR department in line with the company Referral scheme.
- To be familiar with team targets and to strive to exceed them at all times.
- To co-operate with all divisions of the Berkeley Scott Group, in order to ensure maximum financial benefit to all divisions.
- To attend all relevant sales and other training courses, as required, residential or otherwise, to improve both personal and branch performance.
- To carry out adhoc duties as required by Manager. This may involve a temporary transfer to another office within the company.
- To work at all times within the agreed policy and procedure of the company, and within the framework of the Group's Vision, Mission & Values.
