Purpose of the role:
My client is expanding internationally to continue their growth and enable them to reach their vision of becoming a top global supplier of permanent and contract recruitment solutions. Houston represents the first international hub and a stepping stone to maximising their revenue streams from the Americas region and a major milestone in the company's development to achieve their vision. The role and expansion also represents a career development opportunity for individuals to become Managers of departments and leaders of the future with the responsibility of being heavily involved with the development of the Americas region with the backing and guidance of the Group and Management team.
The Role:
- Develop the existing client base with the Americas region to increase their presence with the clients and the clients spend with them.
- Expand the client base to increase their market share or the Americas region.
- Responsible for the recruitment, training, and development of local staff in conjunction with the client training programmes and with the support of the existing management team.
- Maintain and develop client processes and procedures for candidates and clients locally.
- Communicate with UK office to ensure knowledge and information sharing across the client and candidate base globally.
- Establish the brand within the region as a well respected and trusted partner for companies and candidates.
- Attend conferences and exhibitions to promote the company within the local market.
- In conjunction with the Management team ensure that the right external suppliers are being used such as job boards, local Rec2Rec's etc
- Work with the Client Account Managers to ensure that the services levels expected of my client are being adhered to and form an integrated regional account management structure to ensure we maximise their revenue from multi-location accounts involving the Americas region.
- Understand cross discipline areas within the department.
- Responsible for generate sales as a Managing Consultant whilst developing the team beneath you in accordance with the organisation structure.
- Generate financial/sales reports for the region for predicted annual sales and monthly performance
- Perform appraisals of local staff.
- Take part in developing your core global discipline recruitment teams as a discipline head.
- Develop and understanding of the local labour laws and contractual requirements for recruiting in the Americas region.
- Keep up to date with the regional recruitment market and trends and develop the regional business plans/ strategies accordingly.
- Attend client meetings within the Americas region and rest of world as and when required.
- Establish the Americas region with a view to further expansion in the form of local offices in the region.
