FUNCTION PROFILE

SALARIES                     :            £28k - £40k plus commission plus bupa, pension, flexible working hours

My client, as part of an international group of companies, is recognized as the market leader within global oil & gas recruitment.  Through a network of over 90 offices in 5 continents, the group currently seconds over 8,000 (technical) specialists, to many of the world's largest multi-national oil & gas and engineering companies, through well established project and/or global preferred supplier agreements.

My client has set very clear targets for itself, with the aim of again doubling business capacity within 5 years. As such, they are offering an extremely exciting opportunity, to the right individual, to create their own environment and success, in the form of a new concept Shared Recruitment Centre.

FUNCTIONAL BRIEF

To directly support the global business activities, through the high volume delivery of high quality expatriate candidates, across a wide, multi-discipline technical remit, covering multiple time-zones.

STRUCTURAL BRIEF

SHARED shall be structured in such a way as to reflect and support in a balanced yet flexible manner, the core technical disciplines of the business model and the varying levels of sales opportunities each provides, namely: Geosciences / Drilling / Project Management & Services / Engineering & Construction / Operations & Maintenance / etc.

My client estimates a team of 15 recruiters, growing to 30 and beyond as required. There is opportunity within this model for two team leaders who can display competence and a record of success managing contract teams within the oil and gas industry. 

INTERNAL CUSTOMERS

The Manchester operation shall provide continuous and enhanced, expatriate candidate delivery solutions, in support of major (global) projects and/or high volume hiring campaigns, via the existing sales organization (thus not a singular 360 sales/recruitment process)

DELIVERY

Establish a standard recruiter work ethic and practice that ensures both a high quantitative output, whilst also maintaining the highest level of candidate quality.

"           Working against Key Performance Indicator's (KPI's)

"           Promote the business to the oil and gas engineers, upholding the name of the client in accordance with the company interests and procedures

"           Ensure the standard use of candidate screening practices

"           Delivering quality of all outgoing candidate submissions

"           Continuously exceed internal customer delivery expectations

RESOURCING TOOLS

My client currently manages almost 500,000 candidate profiles within its own database. In addition, they have ongoing access to most of the industry's leading job boards, advertising mediums and external databases.

"           Control the quality of candidate data within the company database

"           Increase the content levels of relevant skill pools in line with current needs and forecasted developments

"           Identify new resourcing areas to enhance accessible content for colleagues

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

"           A minimum of 1 years work experience in high volume recruitment environment        

"           Proven and relevant business exposure

"           Experience of establishing a successful and relevant desk.
