In the UK we currently have a strong network of engineering locations, and due to continued success in the market we will be opening a new Kelly engineering division in Kingston. Located in our head office, this new division will be the perfect opportunity for an ambitious senior consultant from an engineering recruitment background to grow a desk and contribute to the success of a new branch. Working alongside a business manager, consultant and resourcer you will be expected to be business development focussed and help drive a sales culture within the branch. You will be responsible for developing, growing and maximising the engineering business and contributing to the growth of the branch, by the placement of engineering professionals into contract , temporary and permanent vacancies. Other responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and building client and prospect database for engineering vacancies, conducting sales calls, merchandising calls, telemarketing and sales presentations to gain orders, increase market share, and advance business relationships
• Work within the engineering, business community to identify opportunities to promote KER and Kelly Services, using candidate and client mailings, marketing material, networking events, and job fairs, to increase the visibility and awareness of KER, improve the reputation and create business opportunities.
• Source candidates through cost-effective and innovative methods including job postings, referrals, job fairs, internet advertisements, social networking, etc, to enable the development of a skilled pool of engineering professionals.
• Use key selection criteria to match candidate skills, requirements and aspirations to engineering contract, temporary and permanent vacancies
• Maintain regular contact with all contractors and temporaries, via regular conversations, to ensure all issues and problems, including payroll, and tax, are identified and resolved, and gain understanding of the development and aspirations of the individual within the assignment.
