Recruitment Consultant - HR

Up to £55k, OTE £100k + excellent benefits and incentives

For several years, our client, a premier international recruitment brand with specialised divisions, has provided a range of recruitment solutions to a broad range of clients within the Banking, Financial Services,  Consumer, Business Services...to name but a few. They are a recognised brand amongst their clients and candidates and they now have a vacancy on their established HR recruitment division for experienced recruiters. They have two roles; one is to place candidates in permanent positions and the other role is placing candidates in contract/interim roles.

The Opportunity

  • A requirement has arisen to appoint an HR recruiter, focusing on hiring senior level HR professionals in to a range of sectors.
  • Clients typically include blue chip companies
  • Candidates are of senior nature; HR Directors, Managers, etc
  • This role will allow you to work alongside a team of like minded recruitment consultants and be part of a larger team of consultants working off the back of existing relationships as well as sourcing your own new business.

Person Specification

  • Our client seeks bright and personable individuals whose attributes include lots of potential, good organisation, a determined mentality and good communication skills.
  • You are also highly literate and able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ideally you will have a background within HR recruitment but we will also equally be open to recruitment consultants who have experience within other professional recruitment sectors (banking, finance, accountancy, etc)
  • Demonstrable evidence of commercial awareness, pro-activity and using your initiative will be needed as these competencies are key to becoming successful in this role.
  • A track record for successfully developing business relationships through effective communication is another important trait.
  • You also believe in and practice values that include effective teamwork, strong open communication and a sense of pride in what you do.
  • Strong account management skills will be essential as there will be warm clients to work from also.
