This company was established to provide a fully comprehensive recruitment service for senior finance professionals to the Insurance and Investment Management industries on a permanent and contract/interim basis. This company is dynamic, high profile, consultative, progressive, and proactive. They are highly focused on rewarding their consultants through promotion and remuneration on results.

They are not a hire-fire culture and envisage spending two years of development on each consultant within their discipline before they become a market maker within their field.

You will be part of an immediate team of 3 within a wider team of 8. The company offers one to one training with Director and Manager on industry and discipline.

Background to Position:

This person will walk into a warm desk, which has been occupied by a Manager He billed £330,000 in his 1^st year from a standing start. We expect the successful consultant to replicate his success and in future increase their billings towards £500,000.

The reason for his request to move is that he envisages billing £700,000 in his new role within the next 2 years. He had no previous experience within this market prior to last year.

Position:

• The Manager will offer one to one training on the insurance market/ Actuarial profession, with hand-over notes on work done to date.
• The role would require you network the life insurance actuarial market whilst offering suitable opportunities within competitor organisations.
• The market is an extremely candidate short industry which will provide the successful applicant a great opportunity to take advantage.
• Clients have a great deal of respect for our recruitment consultants as they are the employer's lifelines.
• Being proactive is highly rewarded (essentially each candidate you source through Head-hunting or advertised response) are highly placeable within competitors.
• Candidates will remain within the industry for the whole of their career allowing you to build long-term relationships (most of your candidates will be clients and visa-versa).
• Highly consultative opportunity allowing you to advise clients on the remuneration packages they should offer and skill set of candidate required.
• You develop extremely strong market awareness of the life insurance market and the actuarial profession in becoming a market maker within a vertical market.

Rewards:

• Commission based on billings.

• Quarterly top billing lunches (any Manchester restaurant of choice)

  

Experience required:

• 2 years minimum experience within recruitment
• Interpersonally; Proactive, hungry for successes,
• Money orientated
• Down to earth.
• Well presented and articulate; as the role will involve liaising with Directors in Blue Chip financial services institutions.

You DO NOT require a background in finance recruitment.
