Our client is looking for experienced recruitment consultants to work in the booming social work temporary placement recruitment sector. Covering all grades of social work. They offer our staff a good basic salary, unrivalled sales bonus, and team incentives to reward excellent performance.
The Recruitment Consultant Vacancy Our client Have
Our client is seeking experienced consultants with solid IT skills. Strong interpersonal and marketing skills are also essential assets in understanding and fulfilling social work employer and candidate expectations. Their currently the preferred supplier to over 95% of local authorities in the UK and they have an existing database of candidates from which to work. This is a great opportunity to come into a new role and start making placements immediately, without having to build up a database of candidates or develop new clients. They also have strong administrative support and a candidate resourcer in house, both supporting the consultants in order to allow the consultants to focus on making placements.
Previous experience in recruitment is essential.
Recruitment Consultant Duties
Day to day duties will include sourcing available candidates from our database, interviewing candidates, canvassing, managing and developing client contacts, arranging job interviews, preparing candidates for interview, managing candidate placements, writing job vacancies, handling incoming telephone calls and attending occasional job fairs.
Recruitment Consultant Training & Career Progression
One to one training and support will be provided as required during an initial 3 month probation period, by a manager with over 5 years' social care recruitment experience. Monthly catch-ups' reinforced by quarterly reviews will keep career progression targets fresh in the mind.
For the right candidate there is a strong opportunity to progress quickly to Senior Consultant and later develop as a Sales Manager.
Commission Structure and Time off Bonus
Commission is structured at 8% of GP until a consultant has 10 people working for them at any one time. Upon hitting that target this rises to 10% of GP for ALL working candidates.
