Trainee Recruitment Consultant (Sales, Recruitment, Headhunting)
A Trainee Recruitment Consultant (Sales, Recruitment, Graduate or Graduate calibre ) is required for Anson McCade, a well-established Recruitment, Search & Selection firm based in the city. We are a niche Consultancy specialising in high-level IT and Finance roles
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will initially be assisting one of our Senior Consultants to help fill existing client requirements in a research based role. This role requires you to resource candidates (using a variety of methods: such as job boards, advertisements and more importantly networking), sell opportunities & manage the entire candidate recruitment process. You will be screening potential candidates and short-listing them before sending them to employers so a good telephone manner is essential as well as the ability to absorb large quantities of information to suitably qualify for these high level roles. The Senior Consultant who you will work alongside will mentor and guide you as you work your way to become a full 360 Recruitment Consultant. Once you have gained knowledge of the market and a good understanding of the relevant industry you are resourcing for you will be able to progress into a Business Development focussed role where you can essentially build your own desk!
We predominantly place our candidates through headhunting and networking. This means recruiting passive candidates who may not want to get called & that is where sales comes into play! The role requires an intelligent, pro-active individual who has the resilience to source the best candidates. Recruitment is by nature a sales role and as with all sales roles, recruitment does involve a lot of time on the telephone. Good communication skills and a professional and positive attitude are essential. Any telesales or B2B sales experience would be highly beneficial (though not essential)
Our clients include major Blue Chip organisations, International Consultancies and Investment banks and as such they demand the highest level of candidates - which means we do too!
