Trainee Recruitment Consultant - Marketing & Online Sector

St Albans based, £18,000 - £20,000 Basic, £29,000 ote Year 1 Car allowance, health cover, pension, PHI after probation period.

This entry level role in the recruitment industry involves undergoing an intensive 13 week training and mentoring period and then beginning a career in recruitment.  After your initial training the role involves learning to sell high value recruitment services to senior contacts within commercial organisations; developing customer relationships and networking within target accounts; managing recruitment projects by finding and delivering highly skilled candidates to your customers and hitting and exceeding revenue and activity targets.  As your career develops your earnings will increase dramatically and you'll eventually take on management responsibility where you recruit, manage and motivate your own team.  Realistic earnings for year one is £30k.

Candidates must be intelligent, with a good degree or equivalent experience, competitive and goal orientated. Excellent verbal and written English is essential along with strong interpersonal skills and personal presentation.  Some previous commercial work experience is important, ideally in a sales or customer facing role.  The only other things you need are a strong work ethic and lots of drive and determination to cope with the highs and lows of a buzzing sales environment.
