Due to significant expansion within the London team and further integration with the Hays City brand, Hays Finance Technology are seeking to increase their Delivery team by recruiting 3 additional entry level Trainee Recruitment Consultants.
 
As a Trainee / Technical Research Consultant, you will undergo a detailed and thorough 12-month development plan during which you will partake in both internal and external training courses covering vital aspects of the financial markets, the recruitment & sales process and your specialist vertical market.
 
During your first 3 months, you will adhere to strict activity targets relating to the candidate portion of the recruitment process. You will utilise a number of methods to generate new candidates to build on the corporate database, primarily headhunting and developing a strong referral network within the marketplace.
 
The following 3 months will see you working on live contract and permanent vacancies within your specialist area and during the subsequent 6 months, you will be actively chasing new business and will be targeted on the number of deals that you successfully complete. All the while, you will be forging strong relationships with the existing Consultants within the business actively promoting the exceptional candidates you are working with.
 
You will be of graduate calibre having undertaken a technical degree such as Business Systems Management or Computer Science, ideally having included an element of business. You will be highly motivated, will have first class communication skills, an element of commercial sales experience and will have the ability to perform in a pressurised environment.
