Recruitment Consultant, Contracts Division, financial services, London.

Amazing Recruitment consultant role within the IT into investment banking arena- this is still one of the high performing sectors within recruitment consultancy!

Established in1987 my client is a leading tier one It into investment banking. Since inception they have grown organically and now employ over 50 people. They also deliver recruitment solutions to the technology and media sectors with offices in London and New York, turnover is currently at £70 million. Key clients include JP Morgan, HSBC, Citi Group, Barclays Capital, UBS and Merryl Lynch.

Overall objectives will be to generate revenue at the levels agreed by the business unit manager, to assist with the account management of major contract accounts, to develop productive relationships with new and existing clients in order to help generate further revenue. You will be expected to generate and maintain a large network of candidates and clients alike, all done whilst adhering to expected standards of service, ethics and professionalism at all times.

Key tasks will involve:
·Taking details of job vacancies and posting on all relevant job portals and researching appropriate CV databases to find contractors relevant for these roles
·Qualifying contractors (Face to face and telephone interviews)
·Sending CV's and following up with client
·Arranging interviews both internally and externally
·Negotiating offers and terms between contractors and clients
·Attending client meetings both alone and with senior colleagues
·Monitor response from job adverts
·Contacting past and present contractor for referrals

Core Competencies:

1.Ability to manage the contractor payment cycle from start to finish
2.Ability to work autonomously
3.Ability to manage sensitive time demands of client and contractor recruitment processes
4.Ability to promote the firms contract recruitment capabilities at client meetings.

Experience Required:

You will have a minimum of 18 months recruitment experience in a relative industry, this will be you 2nd or 3rd recruitment role. You will be of good academic background with the drive and ambition within you to start building a profitable desk from day one.
The successful recruitment consultant will, in return be rewarded with a healthy base salary topped up with excellent OTEs, you will also be supported with a market leading, structured training programme
