Job Description

The company is a niche provider of permanent and contract recruitment services to the banking / financial sector. They focus on front and middle office technology and quantitative positions for a wide range of clients including a number of the world's top investment banks, hedge funds and financial software houses. Core markets include applications development, quantitative analytics, infrastructure and senior appointments.

They take their people seriously providing job satisfaction through a well defined career structure. They offer a unique culture including  emphasis on work / life balance, dress down regime, working hours of 9am to 6pm and the opportunity for some home based working.

As a result of expansion they are now looking to hire two experienced recruitment consultants to join their successful team.

Recruitment Consultant specification:

• 12 months+ recruitment consultant experience.
• Should have experience of recruiting for a technical market (and thus have the ability to read technical job specifications), however, previous banking / IT / Quants experience is not essential. Recruitment Consultants from other technical markets - e.g. engineering or scientific will also be considered.
• Desire to work in a mature and flexible working environment.
• This is a strong second job opportunity for an experienced recruitment consultant currently working for a larger firm who wishes to accelerate their career by joining a highly successful and growing boutique.

Benefits include

• Basic salary up to £30,000 (dependent on experience)
• High commission rates starting at 20%, rising to 35% with the opportunity to work dual desk.
• Very warm desks - The company has a number of established PSLs and new starters will have the choice of literally dozens of live requirements along with choice of vertical market.
