RECRUITMENT CONSULTANTS - CONSTRUCTION & PROPERTY RECRUITMENT - SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA

UK INTERVIEWS - Sept 15th to 29th 2008
A highly successful recruitment consultancy specialising within the niche arena of Construction and Property Recruitment is seeking experienced Recruitment Consultants for their Sydney office which services clients locally as well as The Far / Middle East and UK (from their UK office). With this broad spread of regions the role could offer some potential of travel but working in the fab city of Sydney has got to be a plus for any UK based recruiter dreading the onset of another UK winter ! ! !
You do not have to come from a Construction/Property recruitment but you MUST be an experienced sales biased Recruiter with a keen interest in developing your career towards the Technical arena and able to undertake all aspects of the role including sales. Technical Recruitment / Industry experience would be a big advantage but as the company was established in the late 90s by a Qualified Surveyor excellent training, support, guidance and knowledge is readily to hand. Offering a highly credible, professional service delivered by an experienced team of a tenacious staff, this company has secured an excellent client base, strong name in the market and a growing international presence.

The role is an all round consultants role of sales, service and delivery and will include a mixture of contingent and retained assignments placing candidates from salaries of $80k and upwards so the ability to deal with mid to senior level candidates and clients is a priority.

This company offers experienced consultants plenty of autonomy, the possibility of travel to meet clients and candidates in a vibrant culture. There is no hierarchy here and all staff are treated as equals within a cohesive, team orientated environment.

PERSON SPEC: ATTRIBUTES, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
1. MUST HAVE RECRUITMENT EXPERIENCE - DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT AN EXPERIENCED RECRUITER (Must be able to comply with Australian Visa Requirements - Graduates with a minimum of 1-2 years recruitment experience or non-grads with circa 5 years recruitment experience)
2. Construction/Property / Technical recruitment experience would be advantageous but not essential - good billers who are career focused and willing to learn is whats important as well as . . . . .
3. Well presented, professional individuals with a tenacious approach to your work
4. Energetic and exuberant with a passion for your work and developing your career
5. Genuine reasons for being in Australia - a real desire to relocate to the other side of the world and for the long term as it takes a while to settle and establish yourself in a new country

PACKAGE
Basic salary up to circa £25k - £30k plus assistance with accommodation, flights and visas
You will also receive
9% superannuation on top of base salary
25 days holiday per annum
Tax minimisation packaging including car allowance
Gym membership
Health Care
40 hours minimum training per annum
