Recruitment Consultant - Educational Sector

Location:             WOLVERHAMPTON

Salary:                 Basic up to £20,000 + Commission

Our client has an excellent reputation for placing qualified teachers, support staff, trainee's, supply and overseas teachers who are looking for positions throughout the UK, whether they require contract or permanent work our client is the one they call first, so they have a comprehensive database of available teachers.  They are expanding continuously throughout the UK and need experienced recruitment consultants to continue this growth, they want people who enjoy working in a team environment and want to work for an established company. 

The Position

• § Access to an established database which holds contact details for local teachers and schools
• § Day to day work will involve contacting candidate's/teachers who are available for work
• § Sourcing the correct position for candidates then placing them
• § You will also be expected to visit schools in the local area and establish rapport with them
• § Need to be pro-active
• § Good account management skills along with a strong business development ability

The Candidate

• § Previous recruitment experience ideal, although not essential they will consider candidates who have either sales or education experience
• § The ability to generate new business and develop clients is essential
• § You need to be passionate about your work and enjoy working in a team environment

Person Specification

• § Good standard of education
• § Excellent telephone manner, previous experience in telephone sales although not essential
• § Experience in selling in different disciplines and at all levels
• § Highly customer focused, a good problem solver, ability to think on your feet,
• § Able to work on your own initiative and be a team player
• § PC literate - Word, Excel and previous Recruitment Databases
