Job Description

The company is a highly respected IT and Engineering recruitment business with a network of offices in the UK and plans to open its first European offices in 2012. They are a great employer for trainee recruitment consultants with accolades including a listing on the Virgin Fast Track 100 and Hot 100 Recruiters. The business made £8M in profit in the last year and has a client base that includes over 40% of the FTSE 100 companies.

Everyone in the company starts as a graduate / trainee recruitment consultant and receives industry leading training and development from day and throughout their career. All managers developed from graduate level, benefiting from guidance from recruitment consultants who have been there, done it and managed teams successfully.

There is now an exciting opportunity for two trainees to join the business in Manchester.

The package

• Trainee Recruitment Consultant starting salary of £16,000 with uncapped commission.
• Genuine 1^st year on target earnings of £35,000 - £50,000.
• 2^nd year on target earnings - £80k+.
• Regular incentive trips with recent locations including Monaco, Madrid, Krakow, Barcelona and New York.
• Monthly restaurant / lunch incentives for the top performing recruiters. 

Person Specification

• Graduate with excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport and engage with people.
• Be able to demonstrate resilience and an absolute commitment to succeed in what is a challenging and highly competitive industry.
• Previous experience of working within a sales environment is desirable, but applications will also be considered from candidates who can demonstrate a track record of achievement in other areas (sporting, career, extracurricular etc...) 

The role

It's very much like running your own business. You will be developing your own client base by supplying a particular niche of skilled IT or Engineering candidates. This is a sales role so a lot of your day is spent making outbound calls to businesses to sell your services. You will also develop a network of skilled candidates by advertising, networking, social media etc...
