Finance Recruitment Consultant Nottingham
£24-46k basic + £60k OTE

Our client has over 25 years of experience in professional services recruitment. Over this time they have established themselves as a leader in providing recruitment services for both permanent and temporary staff looking for employment opportunities in finance, banking, accountancy, law and the public sector.

They have won a Recruiter Award for Excellence in Training & Development, as well as a Sunday Times special award for 'Training', on top of being ranked 7th in their 100 Best Companies to Work For 2006 list.

Team background and strategy:
The team currently comprises 8 consultants across three teams. 2 consultants covering the public sector temporary finance market; 3 consultants covering the commerce and industry temporary finance market and 2 consultants developing a senior permanent recruitment offering to the industry and commerce market. It is this permanent offering that they are now looking to further strengthen. They need a talented individual to work in conjunction with the existing team. The successful candidate will be able to work on an existing portfolio of clients recruiting qualified and part qualified accountants to further develop our market across the East Midlands.

Daily tasks: (required if different from rec con role)
·Develop new business through identifying and attracting prospective clients and enhancing existing business relations.
·Meet with clients to evaluate their recruitment needs and provide consultancy services.
·Develop our candidate database through use of present candidate base, networking, a proactive approach and advertising.
·Screen and interview candidates both face-to-face and on the telephone, assessing their needs, strengths and suitability for current and future roles and building up their trust in you as a consultant.
·Develop in-depth knowledge of the candidate database and keep in contact with "A-grade" candidates to ensure they receive a high level of service.
·Provide advice to candidates regarding the format and content of their CVs and assisting with re-drafting where necessary.
·Display the ability to think of fresh ideas, aiming for constant improvement both from a personal and team perspective.

Person Profile/ Qualities:

The successful candidate will ideally be a commercially minded graduate with a minimum of 12 months recruitment experience. A proven record within a permanent professional recruitment environment would be a distinct advantage.

The person will need to demonstrate their proven ability to work to and exceed targets. They will be driven to make their own business and that of the team more successful, and be proactive in formulating and implementing ideas to achieve this.

Salary Range and benefits:
·negotiable dependant on experience.
·20 days holiday (rising to 24 days after 1 year and 26 days after 3 years)
·After 3 years service, receive BUPA health cover or gym membership
·3% contributory pension scheme after 3 month probation period (rising to 5% after 5 years service)
