One of London's leading Training Providers, with multi-million pound Government-funding to place Apprentices into Businesses, seeks a Recruitment Consultant.
You will be tasked with placing job-ready Apprentices and College Students who have all been educated at a local college. The key aim of the role, which is analogous to that of a Recruitment Consultant, is to develop relationships/vacancies with Businesses who could be interested in hiring Apprentices. You will be in a position to sell job-ready Apprentices to Employers who have been vetted by you and your colleagues and are ready to commence work. Employers receive a range of benefits from engaging Apprentices so you will be able to sell the concept to them as well as individual candidates.
Aside from the client-facing business development, where you will contact prospective and existing clients, you will also spend one-day per week at the College interviewing and assessing candidates who could be considered for Apprentice vacancies.
You will work within a team focussed upon recruiting Apprentices just as any Recruitment Consultant professional would do. Therefore, you must have recruitment experience (from any sector) to be considered for this post. This is an initial six-month contract with a clear intention for the role to become permanent.
