Social Care Recruitment Consultant London
£25-27k basic + £80k OTE

Our clients Social Care Team was set up in March 2000 and has developed into a 5 strong team servicing London, Sussex, Kent & Hampshire with temporary, contact and permanent social care staff. Today, the London team is extremely successful, an incredibly busy team that provides a fast paced buzzy environment for consultants to work on Learning Disabilities, Mental Health & Supported Housing.

Their consultants work in a team environment sharing candidate knowledge and registrations. Each consultant has their own portfolio of key clients that they are responsible for developing good business relationships with. In addition to this each consultant will have a portfolio of development clients that they will be targeted on in terms of new business generation.

Their consultants work in a candidate-focused market where their main responsibility is generating new candidates via a variety of methods and providing a very high quality service to their registered candidates. The main aim of their candidate strategy is to keep candidates loyal to our client to beat their competitors.

They encourage their consultants to take a business development day twice a month to look at their patch and spend some time researching their clients and creating Client Development Plans that they then put into place during their marketing days. These Client Development Plans are reviewed on a quarterly basis with the manager. In addition to this they offer consultants an 'innovation afternoon' once a month to work on particular projects that will benefit the team or the company. The rest of your time as a consultant would be spent working on live jobs, making placements and registering housing candidates.

Person Profile/ Qualities:
- A bright, money motivated and dynamic candidate that is confident in dealing with a variety of different people.
- They will need to be patient when dealing with candidates and must be able to prioritise their own workload as well as that of the team.
- A fun, team player but hardworking and willing to take on additional tasks and work to targets.
- Background of sales would be fantastic but would absolutely look at candidates with a variety of work experience, ideally client/customer facing.

Essential skill set priority
1 Previous recruitment experience, preferable healthcare
2 Has previously worked within a business generation role
3 Drive and ambition to further their career
