Trainee Recruitment Consultant Media London Basic £18k Basic, £35-40k OTE SGLnMaRc105 This recruitment consultancy places permanent and temporary support staff within the media industry. You will be working with nearly all of the top 10 PR, advertising and media firms, with whom this company has built up an excellent relationship. As a trainee recruitment consultant you will be sourcing candidates, meeting and interviewing them, then matching them to the appropriate job. Business development is also a major part of the role, cold calling clients and negotiating contracts. You will need to be have excellent interpersonal skills, be of graduate calibre with a good academic record, and have work experience outside education. Ideally this will be in a sales environment, as this is ultimately a sales role, and as such good commercial awareness is necessary. You will initially receive two weeks intense training from the directors, and then plenty of support and mentoring is provided. This approach means that you can start billing from your second month, making the most of the commission on offer.
