Job Description

EXPERIENCED CONSULTANTS FOR OIL & GAS RECRUITMENT - SINGAPORE

My client is a well-established international specialist who already operates on preferred global basis with most of the international Oil & Gas organisations as well as local engineering companies.
Mainly working within the permanent arena with some contract business you will be placing the likes of Project Controls Managers, Planning Engineers, Cost Engineers, Estimating Engineers, Business Managers, Contracts Engineers / Managers and Document Control at all Levels within the Platform, Topside, HES & HSE sectors.
Previous experience within Oil & Gas clientele is preferred. In addition, a demonstrable working knowledge of project controls would be highly desirable. Having said that, my client remains open to considering candidates with experience in other core disciplines such Construction / Commissioning, Discipline Design + Project Engineers.
If Up-shore, LNG, FPSO, Down-stream, Hook Up & Vessel are common working phrases & mean something to you then this could be the company & the role you are looking for.
The role is focused on fulfilment and account management as well as developing business within clients where there are many potential hiring managers still to be contacted. Their contracts are quite complex but you will work on a contingent basis through the PSLs. A high value tendering process is managed through the senior team and ensures that this company is first on the list for talent acquisition.
Your role will also include client visits and client entertainment as well registering candidates and matching client requirements to your candidate pool. You will be working with an experienced senior manager unless you are already operating at this level.

ATTRIBUTES, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
o Experience of Oil & Gas recruitment is a must - don't apply if you do not have the required skills, ability & recruitment experience, ideally 2-3 years Oil & Gas recruitment so you know & understand the full life cycle of Oil & Gas Recruitment.
o Able to hit the ground running
o Strong relationship builder - able to work closely with your clients and understand their requirements
o Ambitious with a positive outlook
o Enthusiastic and enjoy technical recruitment
o Professional & credible - this comes with experience of working in this sector
o Excellent communication skills - written & verbal
o Understands what you put in is what you get out
o Organised and level headed
o Highly motivated & a self starter - not wanting nor needing micro-management
o A team player

TRAINING / PROGRESSION:
Training will be provided but there is an expectation that candidates will be familiar with the requirements as they are standard to global O&G recruitment. Progression is linked with capability and success and internal transfers are also possible - my client is a multi national organisation with links to most international locations.

PACKAGE:
Basic depends on level of experience 2-3 years will be paid at circa USD $50k 5-6 years USD$ 70k
There will be assistance given in finding accommodation, healthcare, Medical & dental insurance, life assurance

INTERVIEW PROCESS:
My client does initial telephone interviews in the first instance followed by face to face meetings in your own country then there will be a face-to-face meeting in Singapore followed by offer stage.
