The Recruitment Opportunity:
The Contract Manager exists to facilitate the smooth running of the contract and know the details and requirements of his/her existing contract, make sure that the agreements of the contract are upheld and effectively monitor the relationship and servicing of the account assisting with implementation.
Motivating and communicating staff and recruits, the Contract Manager is responsible for the successful administration of the contract from financial management to recruitment to client liaison.
The Key Duties:
To find out, know and stay close to the particular requirements of a client contract in order to best provide the type, number and timing of workers for their needs.
To train and communicate the contract specifics and structure to the team, recruits, suppliers and other managers through meetings, telephoning, letters, memos and presence.
To analyse performance and company statistics in the search for new initiatives in achieving new sales and improving ongoing practice and procedure.
To ensure that best practice is communicated to both branch and contract staff across the company so that people understand what is expected of them to carry out contract work effectively and secure repeat contracts.
Contract Manager Spec:
Clear personal commitment to meeting and surpassing customer expectations through delivering a personal and informed service with a long-term focus and active concern for the relationship.
Determination and personal motivation to look for and achieve performance improvement in self and the business by careful monitoring of the service being provided and adherence to standards.
Effective self-management and maintenance of a sense of humour and perspective when dealing with the highs and lows, hours and mileage of the job.
The ability to step back from the subject, take perspective and spot potential problems or opportunities tackling issues with imagination and dedication.
Ability to weigh up options using the information available and calculate a variety of outcomes in order to make important decisions without supervision or delay, with flexibility built in if circumstances should change.
Adaptability to the environment in terms of the people, places and situations and a positive approach to experiencing or initiating change.
Skills for building rapport and communicating plans to a variety of others with the ability to anticipate potential sources of resistance and take advantage of opportunities for influence.
Effective scheduling of work to fit in with deadlines with use and monitoring of company systems to ensure correct planning, administration, review and smooth running of contracts.
Perseverance with difficult tasks and use of alternative strategies to reach a goal, able to accommodate unexpected demands or obstacles with willingness to commit long hours if necessary.
