You will liaise with consultants during a recruitment assignment and be responsible for locating and identifying appropriate candidates. This involves writing advertisements, and searching on the in-house databases and external web-based databases. The jobholder will be a part of the process that decides who should be short listed for submission to the client, so will be privy to job specifications and associated information. Throughout the recruitment process, you will continue to liaise with respective candidates to provide client feedback or advice, as directed by the recruitment consultants.
The business has a dynamic culture, so requires an individual who has excellent prioritising and organisational skills. Equally, you will need to communicate with colleagues (locally and nationally), as well as with external candidates. Therefore there is a strong need for the jobholder to be able to confidently articulate themselves over the phone.
You should ideally have a recruitment background, which means you will be familiar with the mechanics of recruitment and the role of the Resourcer. However, candidates with a corporate sales background would be examined for this role. They are therefore able to consider those with a suitable background and driven desire to succeed in recruitment.
This role involves considerable computer usage, especially the company's database, email system and external websites; therefore candidates need to be adept at Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel). Those with experience of carrying out database searches would be especially attractive for this role.
This is a career role, so candidates should have a stable work history with evidence of achievement.
